Chris’s artwork is mixed media with an emphasis in charcoal and acrylic. His industrial illustrations give a haunting and contemplative insight into our surroundings. His large scale works are calculated yet full of paint drips and mark making giving a sense of the image emerging or being concluded as the viewer looks. Images of infrastructures and construction equipment, Chris comments on our need for ingenuity and the need for constant need to rethink our surroundings. The need for invention and longevity.
